Washington D.C.'s Trouble Funk were one of the defining acts of the Go-Go movement, and Trouble Over Here, Trouble Over There (1987) marks their major label debut on Island Records. Blending the raw, percussive energy of Go-Go with Funk and early Electronic influences, the album brought the D.C. street sound to an international audience. A key document of late 80s Funk and an essential piece for Go-Go collectors.
