The self-titled debut album (1972) marks the launch of Manfred Mann's Earth Band - a bold new chapter following the dissolution of Manfred Mann Chapter Three, embracing a heavier, more progressive rock sound rooted in blues and hard rock. Featuring the band's first lineup with Mick Rogers on guitar, it laid the foundation for one of the most enduring acts in British progressive rock. A rare US Original on Polydor.
