Released in 1975 on Brain Records, Ypsilon In Malaysian Pale is one of Edgar Froese's most immersive and hypnotic solo works. A founding member of Tangerine Dream, Froese here ventures deep into Berlin-School electronic territory – long, slowly evolving synthesizer landscapes that blur the boundaries between ambient, kosmische, and experimental music. A landmark of the German electronic underground and essential listening for fans of early Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and Cluster.
