Recorded at Lee "Scratch" Perry's legendary Black Ark Studio in Kingston, Jamaica, Black Ark In Dub is a deep and hypnotic journey through the unique sonic world that Perry created in the mid-to-late 1970s. The Black Ark was one of the most influential recording environments in music history, producing a distinctive reverb-drenched, effects-laden sound that defined roots reggae and dub for generations. This 2020 EU reissue on 17 North Parade makes this essential dub document widely available again.
