Beschreibung

Johnnie Taylor – Raw Blues

Label: Stax – STX 88053
Format: Vinyl LP Album
Pressing: DE Reissue
Country: Germany
Genre: Funk / Soul, Rhythm & Blues

Johnnie Taylor was one of the great voices of Southern soul, a Stax Records stalwart whose raw, gospel-drenched delivery earned him the nickname "The Philosopher of Soul". Raw Blues lives up to its title – a gritty, unfiltered collection that showcases Taylor's deep roots in blues and R&B. This German Stax reissue on the STX label brings this essential soul-blues record to European collectors in excellent condition.
