Miles Davis - Miles In The Sky

Label: CBS (63352)
Format: Vinyl LP, Album
Pressing: IT Original
Country: Italy
Released: 1974
Genre: Jazz / Post-Bop / Fusion

Originally recorded in 1968, Miles In The Sky is a pivotal transitional album in Miles Davis's discography - the record where he began incorporating electric instruments into his jazz vocabulary, pointing the way toward the groundbreaking fusion of Bitches Brew. Featuring Herbie Hancock on electric piano and Ron Carter on bass, the album bridges the gap between hard bop and electric jazz with effortless cool. This Italian original pressing on CBS is a fine collector's copy.
