La Düsseldorf's self-titled debut from 1976 is a landmark of the Krautrock and proto-electronic canon. Formed by former Neu! drummer Klaus Dinger alongside his brother Thomas and Hans Lampe, the band pushed the motorik aesthetic into more expansive, euphoric territory. Tracks like "Rheinita" and "Geld" showcase a sound that would prove enormously influential on post-punk, new wave, and electronic music for decades to come. This Nova pressing includes the original inner sleeve.
