Notes: –

Released in 1979, Broken English marked a stunning artistic reinvention for Marianne Faithfull — raw, dark, and unapologetically powerful. Produced by Mark Miller Mundy, the album blends post-punk grit with electronic textures, with standout tracks including the title track "Broken English" and the haunting "Why D'Ya Do It". A landmark record of the late 70s new wave era.
