"So Lonely" was originally released in 1978 on The Police’s debut album Outlandos d’Amour and re-issued as a single in 1979 to great commercial success. Driven by Sting’s reggae-inflected bassline and Stewart Copeland’s propulsive drumming, the track perfectly captures the raw energy of the band’s early new wave sound. This original German pressing on A&M Records is a fantastic collector’s piece from one of the most iconic bands of the late 70s and 80s.
