Veit Marvos is one of the more elusive names in the world of early-70s German jazz-funk and soul — a musician whose recordings have become genuine collector’s items for fans of the era’s cross-genre experimentation. Nice To See You, released on Ariola in 1972, is a vibrant and eclectic set that moves between jazz, funk, soul, and rock with the freewheeling energy characteristic of the German scene at its most adventurous. A rare and rewarding find for collectors of Krautrock-adjacent jazz-funk and early-70s German groove music.
