Witches & Devils is one of Albert Ayler's most visceral and uncompromising recordings, originally captured in 1964 and later released on Freedom Records. This 1972 German Spiegelei reissue brings Ayler's raw, spiritual free jazz to a gatefold presentation - featuring his signature wailing tenor saxophone alongside Don Ayler on trumpet. An essential document of avant-garde jazz history.
