UB40's debut album Signing Off (1980) arrived as a raw, politically charged statement from Birmingham's most important reggae act. Released on the independent Graduate Records label, the album blends roots reggae and dub with a distinctly British working-class perspective – its title referencing the unemployment benefit forms the band members were signing at the time. This Italian original pressing comes complete with the original inner sleeves and the bonus 12" maxi single, making it a particularly desirable collector's edition.
