Released in 1983 on Mute, You And Me Both is the second and final studio album from Yazoo - the duo of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke. A bittersweet farewell, the album showcases Moyet's extraordinary vocal power set against Clarke's pristine synth-pop arrangements. Featuring standout tracks Nobody's Diary and Ode to Boy, it remains one of the finest synth-pop records of the early 80s and a fitting conclusion to a short but brilliant partnership.
