Released in 1992, Doppelganger is the debut full-length album by British shoegaze duo Curve, featuring Toni Halliday and Dean Garcia. Building on the promise of their early singles, the album is a dense, layered wall of distorted guitars, pulsing electronics, and Halliday's ethereal vocals - one of the most fully realised shoegaze records of the era. Tracks like "Horror Head", "Fait Accompli" and "Ice That Melts The Tips" cemented Curve's reputation as one of the most distinctive acts of the early 90s UK alternative scene.
