Released in 1981, Time marked a bold stylistic shift for Electric Light Orchestra, embracing the synthesizer-driven sound of the new decade while retaining Jeff Lynne's signature orchestral pop sensibility. A concept album set in the year 2095, it features some of ELO's most beloved tracks including "Hold On Tight", "Twilight" and "Rain Is Falling". One of the band's best-selling albums and a landmark of early 1980s synth-infused rock.
