Released in 1973, Quadrophenia is The Who's ambitious double-album rock opera, telling the story of Jimmy, a young Mod navigating identity and disillusionment in 1960s Brighton. Pete Townshend's sprawling, cinematic songwriting reaches its peak here, with each band member assigned their own musical theme. A landmark of concept album storytelling, featuring "The Real Me", "5:15", and "Love Reign O'er Me".
