"Relax" is one of the most explosive debut singles in pop history, released by Liverpool's Frankie Goes To Hollywood in late 1983 on ZTT / Island Records. Produced by Trevor Horn, the track's pounding rhythm, provocative lyrics, and sheer sonic ambition made it an instant sensation - famously banned by the BBC, which only propelled it to number one in the UK for five weeks. An essential piece of 80s pop culture on a sought-after European original pressing.
