Description
Bill Laswell – Hear No Evil is a solo album by New York bassist and producer Bill Laswell, released in 1988 on Venture, a Virgin sublabel (cat. no. 208 918). It was recorded and mixed by Martin Bisi at B.C. Studio in Brooklyn and produced by Laswell, who also wrote all the pieces. Instead of a drum kit, percussionists from Senegal, Cuba and India carry the music, joined by Nicky Skopelitis on guitar and Shankar on violin; the result sits between ambient jazz, funk and world music. This copy is the 1988 European original pressing.
