Is this the original pressing?
The first edition came out in Jamaica in 1987 on Dynamic Sounds (DY 3457). This record is the Costa Rican edition on CBS from the same year, 1987.

What is soca?
Soca grew out of calypso in Trinidad and Tobago; it is faster and more dance-oriented and dominates carnival music there. Byron Lee And The Dragonaires recorded albums of the current carnival hits year after year.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
