Description

Curt Cress – Sing is a solo album by drummer Curt Cress, released on WEA in 1987 (242 199-1). Cress, known among other things from the band Passport and as a busy session musician, produced it together with keyboardist Udo Arndt. It was recorded between January 1986 and March 1987 in studios in Munich, Berlin, Los Angeles, Vienna and Rio de Janeiro. Guests include Falco, who wrote the lyrics of Welcome To Japan and can be heard on it, bassist Stanley Clarke, guitarist Peter Weihe and Reinhold Heil on Fairlight synthesizer. The pieces combine jazz-rock with electronic sounds from Fairlight and synthesizers. This copy is the German original pressing with its original inner sleeve.
