Mistaken Identity (1981) is Kim Carnes' breakthrough album, propelled by the iconic Bette Davis Eyes – one of the biggest hits of the entire decade, spending nine weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album blends polished pop rock with a smoky, distinctive vocal style that set Carnes apart from her contemporaries. This original Dutch pressing on EMI America is a fine copy of a genuine 80s pop classic.
