Description

Led Zeppelin – Untitled (Led Zeppelin IV) is the fourth, officially untitled album by the British band, released in November 1971 on Atlantic. Produced by Jimmy Page, much of it was recorded at Headley Grange, a country house in Hampshire, using the Rolling Stones' mobile studio. The cover carries neither band name nor title, only four symbols representing the members; with "Stairway To Heaven", "Black Dog" and "When The Levee Breaks" it is one of the best-known rock albums. This copy is the European reissue (Atlantic 8122-79657-7) on 180g vinyl with Jimmy Page's remaster.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in 1971. This record is a European reissue on 180g vinyl. An early German edition is available as Led Zeppelin IV (DE Club Edition 1972).

Which remaster is used?
The remaster Jimmy Page created in 2014 for the reissue of all Led Zeppelin studio albums. Catalogue number 8122-79657-7 belongs to this remaster series.

Why does the album have no title?
The band deliberately left the title and band name off the cover; instead each member chose a personal symbol. That is why names like "Led Zeppelin IV" or "Four Symbols" are used.

Do you have more Led Zeppelin records?
Yes, for example Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin – Houses Of The Holy and Led Zeppelin – In Through The Out Door. More titles are in our Hard Rock collection.
