Released in 1986, "Higher Love" became one of Steve Winwood's defining moments — a euphoric, gospel-infused pop rock anthem that topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year. Produced by Winwood and Russ Titelman, the track features the powerhouse vocals of Chaka Khan and remains a landmark of mid-80s blue-eyed soul. This UK Original 12" Maxi Single pressing on Island Records captures the full extended mix in pristine analogue quality.
