Released in 1969, 100 Ton Chicken is a compilation of early Chicken Shack recordings, showcasing the raw British blues sound that made them one of the most respected acts on the late 1960s UK blues scene. Featuring the distinctive guitar work of Stan Webb and the soulful vocals of Christine Perfect - later Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac - this is an essential document of British blues at its most authentic.
