FAQ

Where do the recordings come from?
All tracks come from Miles Davis's three Blue Note sessions of 1952, 1953 and 1954, first issued on 10-inch records and later on the albums Miles Davis Volume 1 and Volume 2. Only the compilation itself dates from the 1970s.

Why does the label say United Artists and not Blue Note?
In the 1970s Blue Note belonged to the United Artists group. That is why Blue Note recordings were also released in Germany on the United Artists label, like this volume of the Jazz Club Collection.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Miles Davis records?
Yes, for example Miles Davis – Early Miles, Miles Davis – Walkin'. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
