FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1980 Dutch first edition on Timeless Records, cat. no. SJP 143.

What is Eastern Rebellion?
Eastern Rebellion was Cedar Walton's quartet/quintet project of the late 1970s with Sam Jones and Billy Higgins as the steady rhythm section. The horn players changed: George Coleman played on the first volume, Bob Berg from volume 2 on, and Curtis Fuller joins on volume 3.

What do Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means nearly new, with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of wear that barely affect the overall impression. The record is just below that, and the cover shows some shelf and edge wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are there more records by Cedar Walton?
Yes, for example the first volume of the series: Cedar Walton • George Coleman • Sam Jones • Billy Higgins – Eastern Rebellion. You will find more titles in our Jazz category.
