Description
Depeche Mode – Strangelove is the first single from the album Music For The Masses, released in April 1987. Martin L. Gore wrote the song, and Depeche Mode and Dave Bascombe produced it. The 12" carries the Maxi-Mix, with the short Midi-Mix and Fpmip, a version of the instrumental Pimpf with a vocal intro, on the B-side. In Germany it was issued via Intercord as INT 126.862, on black vinyl as well as in coloured variants. This copy is the 1987 German original on orange transparent vinyl.

FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. The orange transparent INT 126.862 came out in Germany in 1987 alongside the single. There were also black and blue marbled pressings in 1987 and later black represses.
What is Fpmip?
Fpmip is Pimpf spelled backwards. According to Discogs it is the single version of the instrumental Pimpf from Music For The Masses, with a vocal intro added.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
For the record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. For the sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Depeche Mode records?
Yes, for example Music For The Masses on blue transparent vinyl, the 12" Never Let Me Down Again (DE 1987) and another copy of Strangelove in orange. More in our Synth-pop collection.
