Description

Jean-Luc Ponty – More Than Meets The Ear is an early album by French jazz violinist Jean-Luc Ponty from 1968, released in the World Pacific Jazz series; in Germany it came out on Liberty (cat. no. LBS 83 189 I), produced by Siggi Loch. Swiss pianist George Gruntz plays piano and arranged the music, and also wrote three of the pieces; the band is completed by Carmell Jones (trumpet), Leo Wright (alto saxophone, flute), Guy Pedersen (bass) and Daniel Humair (drums).
