Cyclone (1978) is one of the more adventurous entries in Tangerine Dream’s Virgin catalogue – a bold experiment that introduced vocals and lyrics into their otherwise purely instrumental world. Featuring Steve Jolliffe on flute, saxophone, and vocals, the album blends kosmische electronics with progressive rock structures and an almost cinematic sweep. A divisive but fascinating chapter in the TD story, and a striking gatefold pressing.
