Released in 1982, "Pinky Blue" is the title track single from Altered Images' second album - a bright, melodic new wave track that showcases the band's evolution toward a more polished pop sound while retaining Clare Grogan's irresistible charm and the group's distinctive post-punk energy. A fine example of early 1980s British new wave at its most accessible.
