FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, as far as this compilation goes: it was released in the Netherlands in 1977 on Groovy, and this copy has "Made in Holland" on the label. The songs themselves date from 1974 to 1977.

Why are "Lady Of The Night" and "The Hostage" included?
Both come from Summer's first album Lady Of The Night (1974), which was released only in the Netherlands on Groovy, the same label as this compilation. "The Hostage" became a top-three hit in Belgium and Spain, before her international breakthrough with "Love To Love You Baby".

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Donna Summer records?
Yes, for example the double LP Donna Summer – On The Radio: Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2, the album Donna Summer – A Love Trilogy or the single I Feel Love. More titles are in our Disco collection.
