Description

T»MA – Mutter, Der Mann Mit Dem Koks Ist Da (Mother's Favorite) is a 12" maxi single on Sing Sing (cat. no. 74321 31860 1), produced by Zebulon. T»MA is a pseudonym of Falco. The happy hardcore track only borrows the refrain of a late 19th-century Berlin street song. As a single it reached No. 3 in Austria and No. 11 in Germany in 1996, and in 1998 it also appeared on the posthumous Falco album “Out of the Dark (Into the Light)”. This copy is the white vinyl promo maxi in a generic sleeve, with the “Mother's Favourite” mix on side A and the “Long Line Mix” on side B.

FAQ

Who is T»MA?
T»MA is a pseudonym of Falco. “Mutter, der Mann mit dem Koks ist da” was released under this name in 1995/96; later editions credit it as “T»MA a.k.a. Falco”.

What does Cover Generic / Promo mean?
Promo maxis were sent to DJs, radio stations and press and were not meant for sale. This edition came without a picture sleeve in a plain generic sleeve. The record itself is pressed on white vinyl.

What does Media NM- mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. With a generic sleeve the cover is not graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Falco records?
Yes, for example Falco – Vienna Calling (12" maxi, DE original 1985) and Falco – Jeanny Part 1 (12" maxi). More titles are in our 12" Maxi-Singles collection.
