Recorded over three nights at Hollywood's Pantages Theatre in 1983, Stop Making Sense is widely regarded as the greatest concert film ever made. Directed by Jonathan Demme, it captures Talking Heads at their creative peak - a kinetic, theatrical performance that builds from David Byrne alone on stage with an acoustic guitar to a full nine-piece ensemble. This 2024 remastered 2LP pressing marks the 40th anniversary of the film.
