"Where The Rose Is Sown" is a rousing single from Big Country's 1984 album "Steeltown", the Scottish rock band's follow-up to their acclaimed debut. Driven by Stuart Adamson's signature guitar sound - evoking bagpipes and wide open landscapes - the track is a powerful slice of anthemic rock with an emotional depth that few of their contemporaries could match. This German original pressing on Mercury is a solid addition to any 1980s rock collection.
