FAQ

No. The first edition was released in 1961. This record is a 1963 mono repress: Riverside introduced the RM prefix for mono issues in 1963, while the cover still reads RLP 391.

Who plays with Bobby Timmons?
Ron Carter is on bass and Albert "Tootie" Heath on drums. By then Timmons was already known for his compositions "Moanin'" and "Dat Dere".

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the record shows light signs of use and plays cleanly; there is a tiny sticker on the label. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear wear, here heavier wear and a tiny sticker on the back. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more records by Bobby Timmons?
