Digital Underground - Sex Packets (Vinyl 2LP | US Reissue | 2021)

Digital Underground – Sex Packets is the debut album by the Oakland group led by Shock G, who also appears on the record as his alter ego Humpty Hump. It was released on March 20, 1990 on Tommy Boy and produced by the group itself. Over Parliament-Funkadelic-style grooves, the album tells a loose science fiction story about a sex pill; "The Humpty Dance" became a hit, and the album reached No. 24 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum in the US. This copy is the limited 2021 US reissue on Tommy Boy (TB-1026-1): two 180g LPs on translucent blue vinyl.
