Description

Hoelderlin – Rare Birds is the fourth studio album by the band Hoelderlin, released in September 1977 on Spiegelei (cat. no. INT 160.608). It was produced by the band with Cedric Beatty as co-producer; it was mixed in summer 1977 by Manfred Schunke at Delta Acoustic Studio in Wilster, and the grand piano was recorded at Studio Nedeltschev in Cologne. The music combines progressive rock with jazz-rock elements, and Christoph Noppeney's viola gives the band its own sound. This copy is the 1977 German original pressing.
