Pete Rock & CL Smooth ‎- The Main Ingredient (Clear Vinyl 2LP)

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth – The Main Ingredient is the second and so far last regular studio album by the duo from Mount Vernon, New York, released on November 8, 1994 by Elektra. Pete Rock produced it, with C.L. Smooth credited as co-producer; compared with Mecca And The Soul Brother it sounds calmer and warmer, built on filtered basslines and Rhodes piano. The album reached No. 51 on the Billboard 200 and No. 9 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart; the singles were "I Got A Love", "Take You There" and "Searching". This copy is the 2016 US reissue on Get On Down ("Certified Classics" series) as a double LP on clear vinyl, new and factory sealed.
