Description

Street Player – Street Player is the self-titled album by the German jazz-funk and jazz-rock band Street Player, released in 1983 on EMI Electrola (cat. no. 1C 064-46 762 D). It was recorded at Cottage Music Studio in Spenge and produced by the band with guitarist Thomas Westerhausen, who wrote most of the songs and arranged the horns and strings. The record opens with a funk version of the Beatles' "Paperback Writer"; Randy Brecker plays trumpet solos on "Street Jam" and "The Melodies Linger On". This copy is the 1983 German original pressing with original inner sleeve.
