Tingvall Trio - Vattensaga (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 180g | Skip Records | 2010)

Tingvall Trio – Vattensaga is the third studio album by the Hamburg piano trio led by Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall, with Omar Rodriguez Calvo on double bass and Jürgen Spiegel on drums. It was recorded on April 27–30, 2009 at Artesuono Studio in Udine with engineer Stefano Amerio, produced by Bernd Skibbe and Martin Tingvall. FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the first, limited vinyl edition from 2010 on Skip Records (SKL 9087-1). The album had come out on CD a year earlier.

What does DMM mean?
According to the runout, this record was cut using DMM (Direct Metal Mastering): the groove is cut straight into a copper disc instead of a lacquer.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of wear that hardly affect playback or overall appearance. The sleeve is still in its shrink wrap. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Tingvall Trio records?
Yes, for example Tingvall Trio – Vägen and Tingvall Trio – Beat. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
