Description
Jan Garbarek – Legend Of The Seven Dreams is an album by Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek on ECM Records (cat. no. ECM 1381). It was digitally recorded in July 1988 at Rainbow Studio in Oslo, produced by Manfred Eicher and engineered by Jan Erik Kongshaug. With Rainer Brüninghaus on keyboards, Eberhard Weber on bass and Naná Vasconcelos on percussion, Garbarek blends Nordic folk music with jazz; the introduction to "He Comes From The North" is based on a traditional Sami joik. This copy is the 1988 German original pressing.
