Isle Of Wight documents Jimi Hendrix's legendary performance at the Isle of Wight Festival in August 1970 - one of his final major concerts before his death just weeks later. Released posthumously in 1971 and reissued here on German Polydor in 1980, the album captures Hendrix in full command of his electric vision, delivering explosive renditions of "God Save the Queen / Machine Gun" and "Foxy Lady" to a crowd of over 600,000.

Live recording from the Isle of Wight Festival, August 1970 - one of Hendrix's last performances
Highlights: "God Save the Queen / Machine Gun", "Foxy Lady", "In from the Storm"
