Description

Warm Dust – Dreams Of Impossibilities is a double LP compilation by the English jazz-rock band Warm Dust, released in 1972 in Germany only on BASF (cat. no. 22 29082-4). It collects nine tracks from the debut "And It Came to Pass" (1970) and three from "Peace for Our Time" (1970) in a new mix; the spoken introductions of the "Peace for Our Time" pieces are left out. The band combined rock with a horn section of saxophones, flute and oboe; the young Paul Carrack, later known with Ace, Squeeze and Mike + The Mechanics, played organ and piano. This copy is the 1972 German original edition in a gatefold sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. The compilation was released in 1972 in Germany only on BASF; this copy is that original edition, cat. no. 22 29082-4, in a gatefold sleeve.

Do the tracks sound like on the English albums?
Not quite. The tracks were remixed for this release, some versions differ slightly, and the spoken introductions of the "Peace for Our Time" pieces are left out.

What does Media VG+ (rather better) / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that hardly affect playback; the records sit at the upper end of this grade. The sleeve also shows only light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Warm Dust records?
Yes, another copy of Warm Dust – Dreams Of Impossibilities. Similar music is in our Jazz-Rock and Progressive Rock collections.
