Whodini ‎- Whodini (Vinyl LP)

Whodini – Whodini is the debut album by New York rap duo Whodini, released in 1983 on Jive. Jalil Hutchins and John “Ecstasy” Fletcher recorded it partly in London (Battery Studios) and partly in Germany: “Nasty Lady” and “Rap Machine” were made with Conny Plank at Can Studio in Weilerswist and mixed at Plank’s own studio. “Magic's Wand”, a tribute to New York radio DJ Mr. Magic, was produced by Thomas Dolby. The sound combines rap with synthesizers and drum machines and belongs to early electro. This copy is a 1983 German pressing (Jive HIP 10) with original inner sleeve.
