Description

Bob Marley And The Wailers – Catch A Fire is the Wailers’ first album for Island Records, first released on April 13, 1973. It was recorded in Kingston in 1972 at Dynamic Sound, Harry J’s and Randy’s; Chris Blackwell then had the tapes remixed at Island Studios in London and added overdubs such as Wayne Perkins’ lead guitar. It was produced by Bob Marley and Chris Blackwell. With songs like “Concrete Jungle”, “Slave Driver” and “Stir It Up”, the album opened roots reggae up to an international rock audience. This copy is an Italian pressing on Island Records (ORL 8110).
