Description
Rainer Brüninghaus, Markus Stockhausen, Fredy Studer – Continuum is a trio album by pianist Rainer Brüninghaus with trumpeter Markus Stockhausen and Swiss drummer Fredy Studer on ECM Records (cat. no. ECM 1266). It was recorded in September 1983 at Talent Studio in Oslo, produced by Manfred Eicher with Jan Erik Kongshaug as engineer, and released in 1984. All pieces were written by Brüninghaus, who plays synthesizer as well as piano; the line-up without bass leaves a lot of space in the music. This copy is the 1984 German original.
