Ray Thomas, the flautist and vocalist of the Moody Blues, released Hopes Wishes & Dreams in 1976 as his second solo album — a warm, melodically rich record that showcases his distinctive voice and his gift for intimate, emotionally resonant songwriting away from the full band context. Released on the Moody Blues’ own Threshold label, the album is a fine example of the symphonic and soft rock sensibility that defined the best British rock of the mid-70s. This UK original gatefold pressing includes the insert and is in excellent condition.
