Released in 1980, Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) marked David Bowie’s triumphant return to commercial and critical form after the Berlin Trilogy. Produced with Tony Visconti and featuring Robert Fripp on guitar, it is a razor-sharp art rock record that bridges the experimental and the accessible. Highlights include “Ashes to Ashes”, “Fashion” and the haunting title track. This German original pressing on RCA Victor is a highly desirable edition for Bowie collectors.
