"True Faith" is one of New Order's most celebrated and commercially successful singles, released in 1987 to coincide with their compilation Substance. A euphoric, propulsive synth-pop track with an irresistible melody and Stephen Morris's driving rhythm, it became a UK Top 5 hit and remains one of the defining moments of late 1980s electronic pop. The B-side "1963" is equally beloved by fans. This German original pressing on Rough Trade is a fine collector's copy.
