Led by the legendary Albert Griffiths, The Gladiators were one of the most consistent and respected roots reggae acts to emerge from Jamaica in the 1970s. Country Living, released in 1985 on the UK Rounder Europa imprint, captures the group in fine form - warm, melodic roots with Griffiths' unmistakable harmonies at the fore. The Rounder Europa label was a respected outlet for authentic reggae in the UK market, making this an appealing find for serious collectors.
